(722) Director of Business DevelopmentDescription
The Director of Business Development will lead the regional sales expansion strategy for the company, while cultivating new customer relationships and performing marketing and sales activities to support growth of the company’s customized I.T. solutions within the Mid-Atlantic region.
Our client is a well-established web technology development firm that provides corporate and institutional customers with highly specialized IT consulting services in the areas of custom web apps; mobile apps; and cloud solutions integration.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Personally develop and cultivate sales leads with mid to large cap corporate customers.
- Assess potential deals, negotiate contract terms, and close new sales for the company’s full suite of application development services.
- Develop marketing and promotion initiatives that support the growth strategy.
- Assist in defining and identifying potential sales targets and provide ongoing market analysis for revenue forecasting.
- Coordinate with internal managers and groups to tailor company communications to meet the interests and business requirements of the targeted customer base.
Requirements
- Direct experience selling I.T. services across the Fortune 1000 market in the greater Mid-Atlantic region.
- Comprehensive knowledge of custom and mobile applications, cloud integration, and I.T. consulting services.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting financial targets and independently building sales pipeline.
- Experience with integrating market information with strategic sales planning to achieve quantified business objectives and build new customer bases.
- Min. education: B.S. or B.A. in business or technology discipline. MBA is a plus.
